About Steppe into English

Language is more than words — it’s connection, confidence, and culture.

My Teaching Method

My lessons are grounded in Comprehensible Input, a theory of second-language acquisition developed by Stephen Krashen. Learners acquire language most effectively when they understand messages just beyond their current level, supported by context, visuals, and interaction.

Instead of memorizing isolated rules or lists, students develop authentic communication skills through listening, reading, and speaking in meaningful contexts. The result is faster progress and a more enjoyable learning experience.

My Story

I began my teaching journey as an Assistant Language Teacher in Japan, where I worked with elementary students and local teachers. This experience deepened my understanding of how people of different ages learn languages and inspired me to create flexible, engaging lessons.

Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about cross-cultural exchange. I’ve organized and participated in programs that bring people together across cultures, showing learners that language is more than vocabulary — it’s a bridge between people, perspectives, and communities.

Steppe into English is the place where I bring together my passion for teaching, cultural understanding, and empowering learners to communicate confidently.
